We can help you design and maintain a lovely formal herb garden(skillful pruning is the key).  They are especially effective if you can plant them where they can be viewed from elevation. Small and intimate or large for maximum impact, herbs are a welcome  addition to any landscape.  Our climate here in Huntsville allows us to grow most any herb, so give your favorites a try!



Why grow your own?  How about great taste...Saving money?  Or simply the knowledge that you have your own fresh or dried herbs to delight your family...even if you are serving rice and beans. 

This is a very basic list.  For example, the cilantro will yield coriander as seeds.  The chives come as onion or garlic scented.  The sages and mints come in a wide variety of 'flavors' for food and fragrance.  What great birthday presents or special event decorations a hedge of Lavender would yield!

Also think about growing herbs in containers, hanging baskets and window boxes...
 An herb garden can be as formal or as casual as you want.  The more formal the garden, the more maintenance is required.   The garden can be designed to be fairly carefree, requiring only seasonal upkeep.

  •   scent - perhaps tart lemons?  or soft subtle favorites?
